FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas starting running back Raheim "Rocket" Sanders was seen on the sidelines at practice on Monday in the 20 minutes the indoor facility was open to the media. Sanders stood next to the other running backs with a helmet on, wore a sleeve over his left leg during drills and continued to flex his knee periodically twirling a football in the air.

Sanders suffered the knee injury during the opening week win over Western Carolina and was not seen in either the Kent State game or BYU. Here's what coach Sam Pittman had to say Monday afternoon on Sanders' status prior to practice.

"I tell you in all honesty it's probably too early to tell on that injury," Pittman said. We're going to have him (Sanders) out there a little bit today and kind of see where he's at. But to be honest with you the answer is probably no at this point. Not no he's not going to play, but no we just don't know."

Arkansas will open conference play against LSU. The game begins 6 p.m. Saturday at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. The game can be streamed live on ESPN and fuboTV.
