FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Football season will start a few hours earlier than expected. Kickoff time for the Razorbacks' game against Wesrtern Carolina at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock is now scheduled for noon. According to a Razorback Athletics press release sent Monday morning, the change was made to allow for "safer conditions for the student-athletes on the field and fans in attendance."

According to the Weather Channel, the forecast calls for temperatures topping out at 93 with 60% humidity. The earlier start will mark the 75th anniversary of the Hogs playing home games at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock

Despite the change in time, the showdown with the Catamounts will still only be shown on SEC Network Plus and ESPN Plus. The game will not be broadcast on television.
