Hogs' Stewart Arrested for Burglary
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sam Pittman needed to free up a few roster spots for the transfer portal, but this is not the way he wanted to see that happen.
Arkansas defensive end Jashaud Stewart, who was the first commit Pittman ever visited as Razorbacks' head coach, was arrested by the Fayetteville police department Wednesday afternoon on charges of residential burglary and first degree criminal mischief.
Stewart, a super senior, appeared sporadically throughout the season, accumulating eight tackles across six games. He was shut down for the season following the 7-3 loss to Mississippi State. The Jonesboro native struggled with injuries throughout much of the season.
