SEC Shorts: How Former UCA Receiver, Hogs' Head Coach Candidate Got Snubbed
FRISCO, Texas – Former Central Arkansas star receiver Mike Norvell has made quite a name for himself since leaving Conway.
He got hot while coaching at Memphis, which led to him being a prime candidate to replace Chad Morris at Arkansas. Instead, he ended up at Florida State, a school most assumed gave Norvell a much better shot at getting into the College Football Playoffs.
However, at Sunday's selection show, Norvell and his Seminoles got the same treatment most expect Arkansas would receive should the Razorbacks ever stumble their way into College Football Playoff consideration. Here's how the comedy troupe over at SEC Shorts imagine that discussion went down.
