FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – It's Giving Tuesday or National Day of Giving depending on where you live in the country.

It's a day typically reserved for making donations to worthwhile charities that feed the homeless, provide goods and services to children, provide teachers the many things they need to make students in their classrooms successful that school budgets can't provide, and now buying a downtrodden football team the players it needs can be added to that list.

An e-mail went out asking the people of Arkansas, alumni of the university, those who have ever purchased a ticket and perhaps anyone who has simply stopped in Northwest Arkansas to buy a tank of gas to look into their hearts and give a generous love offering to a newly established NIL collective called Arkansas Edge.

Those who have already given to the ONE Arkansas Collective should feel free to also donate to the new collective as ONE Arkansas will soon go away.

"As new emerging priorities through NIL arise, we must evolve in the way we support our student-athletes. After blazing the trail for NIL at the University of Arkansas, the ONE Arkansas Collective will soon dissolve in an effort to clear the way for the next step of NIL at the University of Arkansas – Arkansas Edge."

Blueprint Sports will manage the NIL. It's a company out of Las Vegas that handles collectives for mostly low profile schools like UNLV, Ohio and Bowling Green, but includes Penn State, Arkansas, Arizona, Tennessee and Kansas as its crown jewels.

Yurachek's statement says all 465 Arkansas athletes, will benefit from the collective, so everyone from the next receiver to come through the portal to future star gymnasts should receive money. Fans of lesser income are encouraged to join as members through fees starting as low as $25 per month with a goal of an additional 5,000 member at $50 per month and another 5,000 at $100 per month.

If the collective can reach $1 million, that amount will be matched. It also allows for corporate sponsorships that will be used for public appearances, endorsements and marketing campaigns.
