Recapping Day One Of Arkansas In Transfer Portal
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Maybe there weren’t a whole lot of potential transfers which fit the Arkansas mold. Basically, it was a slow news day for the Razorbacks looking to rebuild their roster after a disappointing regular season.
Usually, Arkansas has contacted an extensive list of guys on Day 1. That makes things pretty interesting considering the rumors floating around about Eric Musselman’s commitment to Arkansas. However, there have been a few impressive transfers who would fit the needs in the post.

At 6-foot-9, 220 pounds, Brown-Jones can play both the forward and center positions. The Philadelphia native averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and one block in 28 minutes per game. This will be his third time to transfer after signing with VCU out of high school in 2020.
While Brown-Jones isn’t a volume three-point shooter, he did make 43% of his attempts. He also made a career high 79% of his free throws.
