FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas sophomore guard Joseph Pinion retweeted a post this afternoon indicating he will be leaving the Razorbacks.

Pinion was the one player who really stood out as having transformed his body coming into the season. He put on a substantial amount of muscle to make him more suitable for the physical grind of playing against SEC defenses.

He had double digit minutes only three times this season despite the team being in disarray and head coach Eric Musselman continuously changing the line-ups all season long. In those games he put up a season high 12 points against Florida, 10 against Ole Miss and seven against Alcorn State.

Totaling 57 minutes, or roughly a game and a half for typical starters, he shot 7-for-16 from the field, 5-for-11 from three and and a perfect 10-of-10 at the free throw line.  However, after January 24, he played a total of 14 minutes and wasn't seen on the floor after Valentine's Day.

His career high was 13 points, which he logged twice last season. The first was in 27 minutes win a win over Missouri and the other was in 22 minutes in a win over Ole Miss.

More Razorbacks are expected to depart. Check back often as we update the latest movement in and out of the portal.
