FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former Arkansas guard Jersey Wolfenbarger has found a new home, announcing on Instagram Monday that she has transferred to LSU.

The Fort Smith native did not play the 2023-24 season after leaving the Razorbacks just days before it began. During the two years in a Razorbacks uniform, Wolfenbarger averaged 7.5 points as a freshman and made the All-SEC freshman team in 2022 before seeing both her playing time and production drop as a sophomore.

A former Top 10 recruit, Wolfenbarger was the No.1 wing player in the class of 2021 at the time of her signing according to ESPN. She now joins Kim Mulkey and the reigning national champion LSU Tigers for the 2024-25 season as its first pickup out of the transfer portal for the upcoming year.

LSU is currently in the Sweet 16 run after defeating Middle Tennessee State, 83-56. The Tigers are trying to become the first back-to-back NCAA Tournament winners since UConn won four straight from 2013-16.
