Auburn Adds A Recruit At A Position Of Need
Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class is now up to nine verbal commitments.
The Tigers add offensive lineman Tai Buster from Kannapolis (N.C.) A.L. Brown. He is Rivals’ No. 21 interior offensive lineman nationally, as well as being the #11 player from the state of North Carolina. Rivals has Auburn's recruiting class up one spot with the new commitment, ranked at No. 6 overall.
His offer list includes Florida, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Wake Forest, Liberty, Boston College, and Duke, among others.
Watching Buster’s junior season highlights at left tackle, he shows several good traits. His agility, especially his first-step quickness, is tremendous. His 6-foot-3 and 280-pound frame overpowers defensive linemen and linebackers by way of exploding into the defenders through his hips.
Further, Buster shows a good “punch” with initial contact. Once he’s engaged with the opponent, his natural strength usually wins out. Playing in a zone scheme, he reaches the second level quickly and seals off the backside of the play.
With Auburn adding Buster to the 2025 recruiting class, he is the third offensive lineman, joining Spencer Dowland and Tavaris Dice. Download comes from Athens (Ala.) High School and Dice from Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes.
