Auburn sits in the top 35 in the country with its 2024 class according to 247, and at 15th in the country on On3. The hope for the Freeze staff is to end up in the top ten for both recruiting services. With the current eight commitments, Auburn has six four-stars and two three-stars in Bryce Cain and Martavious Collins. The following five recruits would add talent and depth at positions of need.

Starting off with the biggest name, Cam Coleman, the Central-Phenix City native who has found Auburn to be one of his top schools. Coleman has visited Auburn six times since October 2022, the only schools he has visited more than three times are Auburn and Florida State. LSU is close behind with two visits, one of which is an official visit that started June 23rd. The five-star doesn't look to be winding his recruitment down anytime soon, as the schools involved will have to wait until signing day for his commitment.

The second huge name would be Casey Poe. Poe is an offensive guard from Lindale, Texas. He plans on settling down for his senior season, as he is committing on July 12th, his top schools are Texas Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Poe has visited all four on official visits with Auburn receiving a visit on the weekend of June 16th. This week Poe will be in Tuscaloosa and the following he will be in Norman to visit the Sooners. It looks to be an uphill battle for the Tigers but Auburn being in the top schools is a change of pace for a fanbase used to subpar recruiting along the offensive line.

Malik Blocton, an Auburn target that sits less than an hour away from Jordan-Hare stadium has the Tigers as one of his final teams. Texas and Auburn are battling it out for the four-star who has racked up over 100 career tackles for the Patriots. The Tigers have the momentum and the visits on their side for Blocton, but they also have a vital connection. Marcus Harris, a two-year starter for Auburn is Malik's older brother and has been pushing for the two to play together on the defensive line. The Tigers and Longhorns will not have to wait in suspense for much longer, Blocton will be committing publicly on July 8th.

Finishing up with the four-stars is Jalewis Solomon, who is one of the most intriguing prospects Auburn is pursuing due to his familial connections to the program. Solomon is the little brother of Zykevious Walker, who was Auburn's highest-rated defensive recruit in the class of 2020. Zykevious and Jalewis are the older brothers to 2025 EDGE prospect Zayden Walker who Auburn is pursuing heavily. Wesley McGriff has begun to make Jalewis a priority at the cornerback position. Solomon, like Coleman looks to be a recruitment that will not be ending until the late fall or winter.

Wrapping up this list with a three-star might make one think, "How can a three-star be a program changer?" the reason is that this prospect plays a position of need and will most likely end up being a four-star when it is all said and done. Jameson Riggs is this three-star, Riggs is a Georgia native who has flown under the radar through his Junior season. The offensive line being one of the biggest needs helps Riggs's case, but his play is where he is seen as a hidden gem. His quick feet, explosive strength in his blocks, and the ability to block both the run and pass effectively are sending him up Auburn's OL recruiting board.

Auburn crushed the transfer portal and brought back to life a 2023 high school class that looked doomed. This is in large part to Hugh Freeze and his staff being able to sell Auburn and for the lack of depth to sell play time for recruits. Following the 2023 season the offensive line, defensive line, wide receivers, and defensive backs will need bodies to fill holes of players leaving from graduation or the NFL. These five aforementioned players help to fill and add top tier talent and make Auburns roster better for what should be Freeze and staffs second year on the plains.
