Auburn Impresses Top Alabama Prep Football Recruit Again

Decision coming soon for one of the nation's top prospects
In this story:

Auburn's recruiting efforts to land one of the nation's top running back recruits are in full swing.

Ranked as the #36 prospect in America by Rivals, Alvin Henderson is coming off another Auburn unofficial visit. Here's what the Elba (Ala.) High School recruit says about his trip and his recruitment overall.

"I was able to see how spring practice is," Henderson said of seeing Auburn practice today. "I wanted to see everybody's energy level. I wanted to see how the coaches interacted with all the players. I got good vibes from today."

He's been to Auburn several times and has a good idea of what Auburn wants to do offensively, so the practice itself was the key to the trip.

"I already know what coach (Hugh) Freeze is doing and everybody was working."

As for Henderson's official visit plans, he has one school set up.

"I have Miami for the last one, that's it."

As for whether Henderson plans to wait out the process or not, news could be coming sooner than later.

"I might commit soon. I'm still thinking about it."

As for the one category that's going to help Henderson make a final college choice, he quickly answered with the following.

"Wherever I can get developed for sure."

Auburn, Penn State, Oregon, Florida State, and Miami are the most likely schools to receive an official visit. Ole Miss is the other team that could as well.
