Who is coming to town

#2 Southern Miss, who finished their season 41-17 and won the Sun Belt Conference in their first appearance after leaving Conference USA. They're led by legendary coach Scott Berry, who is stepping down after the season.

#3 Samford (36-23) is a familiar opponent to Auburn, being a staple of the non-conference schedule for Butch Thompson's Tigers. Auburn defeated them 13-3 in eight innings on April 18th inside Plainsman Park, with the May 9th rematch at the Hoover Met being cancelled due to rain.

#4 Penn (32-14) advanced to the NCAA Tournament thanks to a rout of Princeton, 16-3, to win the inaugural Ivy League Baseball Tournament and receive an auto-bid into the tournament.
