WATCH: Back-to-back two-out hits from Cole Foster and Kason Howell give Auburn an early 4-0 lead

The Auburn bats are hot early in game two against South Carolina.

After two-out base hits from Cole Foster and Kason Howell, Auburn jumped out to an early 4-0 lead.

Foster's at-bat was just textbook. He took a 1-2 pitch and hit it the other way. He wasn't trying to do too much, and the Tiger shortstop was able to get his team on the board.

Howell then came up with runners on second and third and slapped an off-speed pitch between the first and second baseman scoring two more for the Tigers.

Now the Tigers need to keep the pedal to the metal and add to this lead.

This team is finding its offensive stride at the right time.

It would be a big boost for Auburn's RPI if they could take a series on the road against #3 South Carolina.

Let's take a look at Foster's RBI base hit.
