3 things to know about the Florida Gators

Auburn will look to end its losing streak in Gainesville tomorrow. What are three of the most important things to know about Florida?

The No. 12 Auburn Tigers travel down to Gainesville this weekend to take on the Florida Gators. The Tigers will be looking for their first road win over Florida since 1996.

Auburn will be looking for its fourth win in a row and Florida will be looking to bounce back after falling 67-66 to Texas A&M on the road in its last outing.

What are three things to know about the Florida Gators?

Florida is a good rebounding team

Florida averages 44.5 rebounds per game to Auburn's 39.3.

The battle of the boards will be an important one in this contest and Auburn will need to limit second-chance points for Florida while scoring as many of them as it can.

Florida has a dynamic guard duo

Florida has a skilled backcourt in Walter Clayton Jr. and Zyon Pullin.

Clayton, a junior from Lake Wales, Florida, leads the team in scoring with 15.9 points per game. He also averages 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

Pullin, a senior from Pleasant Hill, California, averages 15.4 points per game as well as 3.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

Containing these two will be an important task for Auburn's guards.

Florida can shoot the ball

Florida is currently shooting 45.6% from the floor as a team. The Gators are also shooting 33.7% from 3-point range and 68.7% from the free-throw line.

Auburn will need to limit turnovers and bad shots or Florida could easily turn them into points.

Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
