3 things to know about the Georgia Bulldogs

Auburn will be looking to get back on track against Georgia tomorrow. What are some of the most important things to know about the opponent?

The No. 14 Auburn Tigers return to action tomorrow to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on the road at Stegman Center.

Auburn is looking to get back on track after falling 70-59 to the No. 22 Kentucky Wildcats at home last Saturday. Georgia snapped its losing streak with a 76-64 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores on the road on Wednesday.

What are three of the most important things to know about the Georgia Bulldogs?

Georgia can shoot the ball

Despite not having had the best season, the Bulldogs can put the ball through the net.

Georgia shoots 43.7% from the field and 34.7% from 3-point range as a team. Guard RJ Melendez is one of the best shooters the Bulldogs have.

Auburn will need to play good defense or Georgia could take over.

The Bulldogs have a diverse offensive attack

Georgia has three players averaging double-figures and all of them are guards.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim and Noah Thomasson co-lead the team in scoring with 12.7 points per game, Melendez follows closely with 10.2.

Auburn will need to contain Georgia's offense as much as possible.

Rebounding is important against Georgia

The Bulldogs average 36 rebounds per game. While Auburn does average more with 38.8 per game, the road team often struggles with rebounding.

Whoever can grab more will likely win this game.

Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
