Auburn commit Aden Holloway measures 6'2 at Nike Hoop Summit
One thing Auburn fans have grown a custom to is their guards being on the shorter side.
That might not be the case for the Tigers in the 2023-24 season.
Auburn point guard signee Aden Holloway is listed as six-foot-one or six foot on most major recruiting sites.
He is currently in Oregon practicing for the Nike Hoop Summit, where he will play for the world team.
At the Nike Hoop Summit, Holloway was measured at six-foot-two, which means he has grown an inch or two.
This is exciting since it will help him get to the rim and finish with the trees.
Holloway's soon to be teammate Tre Donaldson is also six-foot-two, so the Tiger's ball handlers with be a little taller next season.
We have gotten used to seeing layups blocked at the rim and opposing taller guards filling up the score sheet. Hopefully, with Auburn's guards being taller than usual, that will fix some of these issues.
Holloway has been playing basketball on national tv a lot lately, which has given Auburn fans many opportunities to get excited about what the future holds.
After seeing Holloway play a few times, it's beginning to feel safe to say that Holloway could be the next Auburn Tiger in the NBA.
Here is a video of Holloway taking some shots at practice for the Nike Hoop Summit.
