Aden Holloway shined at the McDonald's All-American Game
Aden Holloway had a memorable evening in the McDonald's All-American Game, scoring 17 points. He also added a few boards, assists, and rebounds in a game where the Auburn signee filled up the stat sheet.
He looked great, taking the ball to the rim and shooting from the perimeter. Holloway took on a scoring role in the first half, while he was more of a facilitator in the second half. He looked good in both these roles and distributed the ball with ease.
Holloway was blown by a few times on defense, but this summer in the weight room and gym, plus being with a college coaching staff, should deal with those issues.
He is a high-intensity player that will make the Jungle erupt a whole bunch during his time on the Plains.
Holloway was interviewed during the game and was asked about playing in front of the Jungle. He responded, "That's what I'm looking forward to. To put on for them, bring good vibes to the arena, and just put on a show for them."
There is a lot to be excited about with the arrival of this stud freshman in Auburn, Alabama.
Let's take a look at Holloway's highlights in the McDonald's All-American Game.
Aden Holloway is Auburn's fifth McDonald's All-American joining Jabari Smith (2021), Sharife Cooper (2020), Korvotney (2005), and Frank Ford (1983).
Holloway is currently ranked as the 27th overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports. He is considered one of the most underrated players in the class and is expected to have a significant impact for the Tigers on the court in 2023.
