Auburn Basketball Rises Inside Top 10 In Latest AP Top 25 Poll
The Auburn Tigers are continuing to rise in the rankings.
After throttling the Vanderbilt Commodores and Ole Miss Rebels last week, Auburn has finally climbed inside the top 10 of the AP top 25 poll.
The two victories over conference opponents were dominant, but there was some extra chaos happening across college basketball that helped the Tigers rise to a season-high No. 8 ranking.
The Kansas Jayhawks fell four stops after losing to the West Virginia Mountaineers. The Duke Blue Devils, who were near the top five, fell all the way to No. 12 following their loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers at home. The Baylor Bears also dropped out of the top 10 alongside the Memphis Tigers.
Only two other SEC teams landed in the top 25, with the Tigers having booted Ole Miss out. the Tennessee Volunteers landed at No. 5, and the Kentucky Wildcats, who dropped 105 points on the Georgia Bulldogs over the weekend, rose to No. 6.
