Auburn basketball set to face Arkansas in SEC tournament
Auburn's path in Nashville has been set.
The Tigers (20-11, 10-8 SEC) will take on Arkansas (19-12, 8-10 SEC) in the second round of the SEC tournament.
Auburn finished the regular season with a home victory over No. 12 Tennessee, whereas Arkansas lost 88-79 to Kentucky to close their season.
Here are the final 2022-23 SEC standings:

- Texas A&M (23-8, 15-3 SEC)
- Kentucky (21-10, 12-6 SEC)
- Missouri (23-8, 11-7 SEC)
- Tennessee (22-9, 11-7 SEC)

- Auburn (20-11, 10-8 SEC)
- Florida (16-15, 9-9 SEC)
- Mississippi State (20-10, 8-10 SEC)
- Arkansas (19-12, 8-10 SEC)
- Georgia (16-15, 6-12 SEC)
- South Carolina (11-20, 4-14 SEC)
- Ole Miss (11-20, 3-15 SEC)
- LSU (13-18, 2-16 SEC)
Auburn finished as the No. 7 seed after having an opportunity to finish as high as third place in the conference. Arkansas dropped to the No. 10 seed with their loss to Kentucky.
With a win over Arkansas the Tigers would face No. 2 Texas A&M in the tournament semifinals.
