Auburn basketball is off to a hot start against Chattanooga.

The Tigers lead the Mocs 8-0 with 17:16 to play after an insane lob to Chaney Johnson. You can watch the lob below.

Auburn basketball is wrapping up non-conference play.

The Tigers (9-2) are sitting inside the top 15 of both the KenPom and the Bart Torvik ratings systems, but are nowhere to be found in the AP Top 25.

Even Joe Lunardi, ESPN's Bracketology expert, has AU at No. 20 (A No. 4 seed) in his latest update.

Maybe two more non-con wins before Auburn travels to Arkansas to open up SEC play will help them finally become ranked.

The first of the two games is vs Chattanooga, a team the Tigers are currently favored to beat by 22 points according to KenPom. The Mocs (8-4), who have played one of the weakest schedules in the nation, are currently strong in their offensive identity.

They live and die by the three.

Only one team (North Florida) shoots larger percentage of their shots come from beyond the arc this season. While UC is simply average at hitting said shots, it doesn't deter them from putting them up. It should make for an interesting contest vs Auburn.
