The Tigers are in control, leading USC 75-53 with less than ten minutes left to go in the second half. Cardwell just scored his tenth point of the game after knocking down two free throws.

A couple of possessions before that, Cardwell threw down a nasty dunk, where he caught the ball underneath the basket, rose and twisted his body back towards the goal to finish the slam.

You can watch the dunk from Cardwell below.

Auburn takes on USC in a rematch of last season's battle. The Tigers lost in Los Angeles a season ago, but with both squads featuring a number of fresh faces, today's contest looks to be a bit different than in 2022.

Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, is playing his second game for the Trojans. Lebron is expected to be in attendance for the game in Neville Arena.

Prior to this season's meeting, the Tigers had faced the three separate times, losing all of them. Auburn hadn't faced off against USC since 1977 before playing last year.

As it stands right now, Auburn is No. 8 in the KenPom ratings despite not being ranked inside the AP Top 25. It's the Tigers' highest rating by KenPom since their NCAA Tournament game against Jacksonville State in 2022.

The Trojans are currently rated No. 40 in KenPom, having lost their two most recent contest to Gonzaga and Long Beach State.
