ESPN predicts the winner between Yale and Auburn
After winning the SEC Tournament, the Auburn Tigers are a four-seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, where they will face the Ivy League Tournament Champion Yale.
The Yale Bulldogs beat Brown with a buzzer-beater to get them into the NCAA Tournament, but now Auburn will look to make it a short-lived stay.
Yale's leading scorer is 7'0 forward Danny Wolf, who scored 14.3 points per game this season. Wolf also grabs 9.8 rebounds per game, which is good for 24th best in college hoops. The seven-footer can and will shoot the three-ball as he shoots 35.9% from deep this season and isn't afraid to throw a few up per game.
Yale has some talented guards as well, so Auburn needs to make sure they guard the three-point line, as the Bulldogs like to shoot them.
ESPN doesn't seem to have much concern for this game for the Auburn Tigers as they give Auburn a 90.2% chance to take down Yale and move on to the Round of 32 in Spokane, Wahington.
Auburn got a tough draw since they will face the UConn Huskies if they make it out of the first weekend. Auburn can win this game, but it will not be easy, as UConn is a common pick to win it all.
Bruce Pearl's squad is playing excellent basketball at the best time of the season, and they are more than capable of making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers are shooting the ball well, and if the threes fall in the Big Dance, watch out.
