How To Watch Auburn Basketball Vs Mississippi State
The Auburn Tigers have another tough road test ahead of them.
After falling 79-75 to the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Tigers (16-3, 5-1 SEC) will now travel to Starkville, Mississippi, to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs (13-6, 2-4 SEC).

Auburn vs Mississippi State basketball will tip off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, January 27th, 2024. The TV broadcast can be found on the SEC Network. Richard Cross and Pat Bradley will provide play-by-play and color commentary.

Auburn vs Mississippi State series history
Auburn leads 81-70 in the all-time series with Mississippi State (including vacated wins in the series by both MSU and Auburn). AU is 28-15 all-time at Humphrey Coliseum.
The Tigers have won five-straight in the series since March of 2019. Last time they traveled to Starkville, Auburn beat the Bulldogs, 81-68 (OT), to claim at least a share of the 2022 SEC regular-season championship title (won it outright a game later on Senior Day). Jabari Smith led the way for the Tigers with a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds followed by 14 points from K.D. Johnson.
Coach Pearl is 12-5 in his coaching career against Mississippi State including 7-2 at Auburn. Against the Bulldogs, Pearl is 6-2 on the road (3-1 at Auburn).
Pearl is 2-0 against MSU head coach Chris Jans including Auburn’s 69-63 victory last season at Neville Arena in Jans’ first season. The first meeting between the two coaches came in the 2019 NCAA First Round as the Tigers defeated New Mexico State, 78-77, on their way to the first Final Four in program history.
