PHOTOS: Here are the best shots from Auburn basketball's battle with Vanderbilt
Auburn basketball looked to get back on track after dropping two games in a row last week.
After losing games on the road against the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa and Mississippi State when visiting Starkville, Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers hosted the Vanderbilt Commodores Wednesday night in Neville Arena.
As basketball fans have come to expect, the Tigers played a much better game inside Nevile Arena. It wasn't an efficient first half but Auburn controlled the game throughout. The Tigers entered the game holding a 40-2 record at home over the past three seasons.
Auburn Daily Photographer Eric Starling was courtside for the action and snapped the best shots from the action. Photos include Chad Baker-Mazara playing a physical game. Johni Broome was aggressive around the basket and guard Denver Jones showed signs of him heating up just in time for the rest of conference play.

These two teams last met on January 17th, where Auburn won 80-65 behind a big game from Jaylin Williams, who scored 21 points while going 7-7 from the field, 2-2 from three, and 5-5 from the free throw line.
The Auburn Tigers will look to fix their recent road woes by going on the road to Oxford, Mississippi this weekend to take on an Ole Miss team that's playing better basketball than they were a few weeks ago when Auburn took down the Rebels in Neville Arena. That game will tip off at 5:00 pm CT.
