Walker Kessler had a big night against the Denver Nuggets

Walker Kessler recorded his first double-double of the 2023-24 NBA season.

Walker Kessler didn't have the best start to the 2023-24 NBA season, but in his matchup against defending NBA Champions, the Denver Nuggets, he went off.

Kessler scored 22 points and reeled in 13 rebounds, giving him his first double-double of the season.

The best part of Kessler's day was how efficient he was from the field. Kessler was 10-11 from the field on the day.

He was going against the Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic, who is the best player in the NBA, so seeing Kessler put these numbers up with Jokic on him is even more impressive.

Kessler needs to start being more aggressive scoring around the rim. All Auburn fans know when you get the ball down low to the seven-footer, he will either dunk it or make a move around the rim and score.

If Kessler would start being more aggressive, he would put up stat lines like this every night.

It was great to see Kessler get his first double-double of the season, but I can assure you he will do this a whole bunch the rest of this season for the Jazz.
