What did the Auburn head coach have to say after the Tigers fell to Kentucky at home?

The No. 13 Auburn Tigers fell 70-59 to the No. 22 Kentucky Wildcats at home.

What did Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl have to say after the game?

"Kentucky can guard and they can turn it up when they want to," Pearl said. "They outplayed us tonight, they played really well. We knew their guards were excellent and late in the game when it came down to getting decent shots and keeping us at bay, they were able to do that."

Auburn has struggled with Kentucky guard Antonio Reeves in the past. Pearl talked about Auburn's struggle to contain him tonight.

"Reeves has killed us every year," Pearl said. "He just killed us. Big guard, able to make shots."

Pearl talked about Auburn forward Jaylin Williams' status after he went down with an injury in the second half and the impact losing him had on the team.

"We were in range when he (Williams) got hurt," Pearl said. "We think he's got to have something, not just a bang. We'll do an MRI tomorrow and we'll take a look at it."

Auburn has a week off before its next game. The Tigers will take on the Georgia Bulldogs on the road next Saturday at 5 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
