What did Auburn's head coach have to say after the Tigers dominated South Carolina in the SEC Tournament?

The No. 12 Auburn Tigers picked up a dominant 86-55 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.

What did Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl have to say after the game?

"First, want to start with South Carolina and congratulate them on a phenomenal year," Pearl said. "To be picked at near the bottom and to win 13 SEC games, that's a really good team. They're well-coached. They got a good plan."

Pearl talked about how good his frontcourt played defensively.

"We're built a little differently," Pearl said. "I think Dylan and Johni, Chaney and J-Will are all older and they're all bigger, and they're willing to be physical and stuff. I mean, tomorrow, in the paint, some big men down there tomorrow on both teams."

Pearl talked about the new charge rule that went into affect this season.

"I think it's been a good rule," Pearl said. "I think it has opened up the floor a little bit. It's brought a lot more contact at the rim with the bigs blocking shots. A lot of times those guys will turn the corner, get downhill, the collisions would be out there on the perimeter. I think it's better because kids aren't just jumping in front of each other. It has increased the offenses."

Auburn will take on the No. 9 seed Mississippi State Bulldogs, who upset the No. 1 seed Tennessee Volunteers, tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on ESPN and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
