What did Auburn's head coach have to say after the team's dominant performance?
In this story:

The No. 13 Auburn Tigers picked up a dominant 82-59 win over the No. 22 Ole Miss Rebels at home tonight.

What did Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl have to say following the game?

Pearl talked about what he has seen from the team defensively.

"They're locked in," Pearl said. "I think they're beginning to enjoy the fact that they have the ability to make it difficult on the opponent. and they're creating some defense from their offense."

Auburn had 40 bench points. Pearl talked about how valuable Auburn's depth has been.

"We've been saying all along that when we go to the bench we don't drop off," Pearl said. "My question was is it because our bench is that good or our starters aren't good enough? All summer and fall it was even."

Pearl has talked about the closeness of this team previously and described the effect that it has on the court.

"It's everything, their closeness," Pearl said. "But we haven't had adversity yet. Adversity can build character but it will reveal it."

Auburn returns to action on Wednesday night when it takes on the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road inside Coleman Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on ESPN and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics App.
