What did Bruce Pearl have to say before Auburn's game against Tennessee?
The No. 11 Auburn Tigers take on the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers on the road tomorrow.
What did Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl have to say before the game?
"Our defense has been good, it'll have to be at its very best," Pearl said. "It'd be great if we could keep making shots which is what it takes at the end of the year to get hot and win."
Pearl talked about the importance of containing Tennessee guard Dalton Knecht.
"He's gonna get his, you just don't want him to go off," Pearl said. "He can do it all at both ends of the floor. He presents a real matchup problem because he's one of the biggest guards our guards will face and he's one of the most skilled forwards our forwards will face."
Pearl gave some good news about forward Jaylin Williams who got injured during the Kentucky game.
"Jaylin will travel," Pearl said. "While he was not available for Georgia, it's possible he could play tomorrow. We'll see how he does today. He moved around a lot yesterday, more than we thought he would."
Pearl talked about guard Aden Holloway's game against Georgia and what he will be looking to get out of him moving forward.
"I thought he showed how tough he is," Pearl said. "Every shot he took against Georgia I thought he was going to make... He hasn't shied away from the moment and he shouldn't shy away from the moment, he's a great player."
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on ESPN2 and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
