What did the Auburn forward have to say after the Tigers' convincing win against their biggest rival?

The No. 12 Auburn Tigers picked up a 99-81 win over the No. 16 Alabama Crimson Tide tonight at Neville Arena.

What did Auburn forward Jaylin Williams have to say after the game?

Williams talked about what he saw in Alabama defensively that allowed him to score a career-high 26 points.

"I knew they (Alabama) were going to try to play smaller," Williams said. "Just going in I knew I had to be more patient and more aggressive."

Williams talked about the development of Tre Donaldson and how much of an impact he has made.

“Tre is a very patient guard," Williams said. "He is not going to try to do too much. If he sees something, he is going to try to get to the spot and if you try to overplay him, he is going to get more aggressive. He is always trying to make sure everyone is in the right spots and running the right plays. It is the little things that matter the most.”

Williams talked about the physicality of the game.

"To me, it felt like every other game in the SEC," Williams said. "There were more foul calls and it slowed the game down."

Auburn returns to action on Saturday against the Florida Gators on the road in Gainesville at 2:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
