What did Jaylin Williams have to say ahead of Auburn's matchup with Ole Miss?
The No. 13 Auburn Tigers return to action tomorrow when they host the No. 22 Ole Miss Rebels at Neville Arena.
What did Auburn forward Jaylin Williams have to say ahead of the game?
Williams talked about how he has been able to maintain a high level of play throughout Auburn's winning streak.
"Taking extra shots and taking the time," Williams said. "When I come in the game teams have been leaving me open so I've been able to knock those shots down and play my game like always."
Williams talked about playing against his longtime teammate Allen Flanigan.
"It'll be good to see him," Williams said. "I haven't seen him or Coach Flan (Wes Flanigan) in a while. Coach Flan is one of the ones that really helped me to get here to Auburn. I'm thankful to him for giving me the opportunity."
Williams talked about what he saw from watching film on Ole Miss.
"Jaemyn Brakefield has been playing really well as a four-man," Williams said. "I haven't really played that many four-men in the last few games that are very dominant and as good as him. Those three guards that they have are very productive on the court. Our goal is to stop those guys and make the other players try to make plays that they can't really make.
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics App.
