What did Johni Broome have to say ahead of the South Carolina game?
The No. 13 Auburn Tigers host the South Carolina Gamecocks tomorrow at Neville Arena.
What did Auburn forward have to say ahead of the game?
"They are a physical team," Broome said. "They brought in a physical forward BJ Mack, a veteran. They got Josh Gray, he's a veteran."
Broome talked about how he stays ready and consistent despite not knowing how the opposing team is going to guard him.
"I'm used to seeing double on the high side, double on the low side, one on one," Broome said. "They (Auburn's coaching staff) said they don't double but we'll see how that goes. I hope that's what they do but they mix it up depending on how that goes."
Broome talked about how refreshing it is to play at home after a road loss.
"We got two great teams at our home court in the Jungle," Broome said. "I feel like we can bounce back pretty quick. This is a very important week for us. We talked about winning the SEC Championship, this is a very important week for us to do that."
Broome talked about the chance Auburn has to compete in the SEC.
"He (Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl) always talks about how not a lot of teams have the chance to compete for championships coming to the end of conference, but we're right there."
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
