What did Auburn's star forward have to say prior to the road contest with Florida?

The No. 12 Auburn Tigers take on the Florida Gators on the road tomorrow.

What did Auburn forward Johni Broome have to say before the game?

Broome talked about what it would mean to him to be a part of the team that ended Auburn's losing streak in Gainesville.

"It would mean a lot to me and my teammates," Broome said. "Me and Tre (Donaldson) are from Florida. I've never played in Florida before, it's my first college game in Florida so it'll be fun."

Broome talked about the importance of rebounding against Florida which is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country.

"They're a very unique team," Broome said. "They crash the glass a lot. They've got three or four really good guards who can shoot it really well... You've got to be physical with them and box them out. The more physical team will win the game."

Broome talked about how much of a challenge it will be to go up against Florida's big men.

"I've still got a lot to prove," Broome said. "Not just to Florida but to everyone. My coaches, my teammates. I just gotta go out there and give the best version of me each and every night."

Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
