Bruce Pearl and the Auburn staff have offered their 22nd prospect in the very talented 2025 class.

Having had success during his tenure in the Atlanta Metro area Bruce Pearl has offered the best player in the area, a six-foot-ten star who has some striking physical and on-court similarities with a recent favorite of Tigers fans.

Caleb Wilson, of Holy Innocents Episcopal, has been on the radar for many SEC and "Blue Blood" schools across the nation. The reason for these insane offers as just a Junior is his ability to be an above-average scorer at the PF position while being a three-dimensional defender who can hold his own on the perimeter, the post, and by the basket. Wilson managed to score just shy of 15 points per game in his sophomore year while adding on 12.6 rebounds per game. Defensively is where Wilson shines, having an insane stat line for the season of 1.2 steals per game and 5.2 blocks per game.

The most underrated aspects of Wilsons' game are his discipline and his willingness to share the ball. Only averaging 3.6 assists in his high school career so far, The numbers don't speak for themselves but his tape does. He has great vision for a player his size and knows when to dump the ball off to his teammates.

Jabari Smith and Wilson share a few things, they are essentially the same size, as when Smith was entering the same year in high school he was six-foot-nine and weighted around 200 pounds. Wilson is six-foot-ten and the same weight prior to his Junior season. They also are slashing-defensive big men and though Smith was without a doubt the more refined shooter at 16 there is potential for the young five-star.

Wilson is the second Atlanta area five-star offered this cycle, and the fourth overall. It will be interesting to see if Pearl continues to plug-and-play transfer bigs or if he will pursue a big-named talent again like he did with the aforementioned Smith.
