Auburn DL Enyce Sledge will enter his name in the transfer portal
We are to the part of the year when players start to enter their names in the transfer portal, which will pull players away from the Plains.
This was the case for Enyce Sledge, who decided that he will put his name in the portal after only playing 11 snaps for the Tigers this season.
The redshirt freshman from Monroe, Louisiana, will be looking for a new home after not finding much playing time during his time on the Plains.
There is a Power-5 school out there that will take a shot on Sledge just by looking at his six-foot-two 311-pound frame.
Sledge was part of Auburn's 2022 recruiting class and was ranked as the 877th best player in the class on 247Sports composite rankings.
Coaches host meetings with players after the season to discuss the future so it sounds like there wouldn't have been many snaps available for Sledge, so he decided to find a new school to call home.
It's always interesting to see where former Auburn Tigers end up when they decide to put their name in the portal.
Seeing Sledge's role at his next stop will be interesting since, as I said, he has the frame to be a good football player somewhere.
Best of luck to Sledge as he looks for a new place to call home for the remainder of his college football career.
