Auburn’s Hugh Freeze Has a Strong Record in Bowl Games
Auburn football is officially bowl eligible.
The Tigers (6-4, 3-5 SEC) are coming off of a dominating performance over Arkansas in Fayetteville. The 48-10 smattering gave Auburn their sixth win and their first postseason berth since 2021.
With two games left in the season (New Mexico State, Alabama), Freeze and Auburn have a chance to finish with their most wins since 2019 with one more victory.
According to major outlets, the Tigers should be on their way to a postseason matchup better than the Birmingham Bowl, where Auburn found themselves two season ago.
Freeze is no stranger to bowl games, having taken his team to the postseason in 10 of his 11 seasons (he did not coach Liberty's bowl game in 2022).
Here's a look at his overall track record in bowl games, and how his teams performed in each.
