WATCH: Auburn defensive backs run through drills during first day of spring practice

The Tigers' defensive backs had a great start to spring underneath Coach Crime Dawg.

Auburn's defensive backs were out working through various drills day one of spring practice.

DJ James, Nehemiah Pritchett, Kayin Lee, and Jaylin Simpson were all in action during the Tigers' open period to the media, among others

Wesley McGriff is back on the Plains as defensive backs coach for the Tigers. "Crime Dawg" was energetic during the drills the media got to see, barking out instructions and coaching up his group.

We got to watch the DBs work through drills where the kept their eyes on their assignment and backpedaled through their routes, diverging from the player if McGriff called them to do so.
