Auburn has high expectations for DE Keldric Faulk.

The five-star end has come onto the scene in camp and really made an impression on the Tigers' coaching staff. Auburn has moved him to defensive end after initially starting him at JACK, but the 6-foot-6, 290-pound freshman has all of the upside in the world on the d-line.

Chris Hummer released 247Sports' freshman All-American list on Thursday morning, with the Tigers' DE having been named to the first-team,

Here's what Hummer had to say about Faulk:

"Hugh Freeze basically set the immediate expectations for Faulk in March when he said that the freshman would “have to play early.” That calculation hasn’t changed much in the midst of fall camp. The only thing that has is Faulk has taken to a new position, switching from JACK linebacker to defensive end. Auburn needs some pop off the edge and Faulk can provide it."

247Sports analyst Brad Crawford also has high expectations for Faulk this season, saying in a July piece "Faulk is the type of early enrollee capable of providing a boost from the jump. He's a verified 6-foot-5, 269 pounds with plenty of room to add bulk. He's also capable of playing multiple spots, working at defensive end in a 3-4 or as a standup JACK linebacker. Perhaps most importantly, he brings pass rushing juice with him to The Plains. Expect Faulk to be a big part of Auburn's pass rush rotation this season."
