Utah podcaster chimes in on former Tiger Landen King
Landen King became a beacon of upside and potential throughout the Auburn fanbase while he was an Auburn Tiger.
During the most recent transfer portal window, he entered the portal and eventually chose to play for the Utah Utes as his next school.
Locked On Utes host JT Wistrcill projects King to be the third tight end on Utah's roster despite his upside and experience in the SEC.
"This is a home run for Utah," Wistrcill said. "I think he will play this season. I think he's going to end up being the third tight end. I think it's going to be Brant Kuithe leading this team in receiving yards, Thomas Yasmine fits somewhere in the top four regarding receiving yards."
Despite not being the top option in the room, Wistrcill still believes there's a role for King.
"I think Landen King is going to play a role in this offense."
King left Auburn with six career catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. He started his career at Auburn as a tight end and later shifted to wide receiver.
"I think it's a great move for King to come into this offense that is so tight end friendly and work with the best tight ends coach in the country in my opinion, Fred Whittingham Jr," Wistrcill said.
