Auburn football's new facilities ranked one of most "lavish" in college football
Auburn football's new facilities are being recognized as some of the most lavish in all of college football.
Brad Crawford of 247Sports recently released an article detailing the top 25 most lavish facilities in college football heading into the 2023 season, and Auburn's new $92 million facility comes in at No. 9 on the list.
This is what Crawford had to say about the facilities:
"The Tigers' new $92 million, 12-acre facility includes a new indoor and outdoor practice field, a massive weight room with tracking technology on the machines, a team lounge space with casual locker rooms, an “armory” to access and clean players’ equipment, and several other rooms to help improve Auburn’s practice, recovery and quality of life for the student-athletes. Former Auburn linebacker Owen Pappoe, who was a senior during the 2022 season, said in November he would put Auburn's facility up there with any team in the country — and he would know given his history."
“Me being a five-star recruit, I’ve been all over the country and have seen great facilities everywhere,” Pappoe said on Tiger Talk. “This is definitely top 3, in my opinion. It’s going to be a huge advantage for us when it comes to recruiting.”
The Tigers begin spring practice today and will play in their annual A-Day spring game on April 8th.
