Payton Thorne jogs out with the starters for the second straight day
Payton Thorne ran out with the starters at fall camp for the second straight day.
They ran through drills twice. Holder Geriner went after Thorne in the first rotation, with Robby Ashford going last.
Ashford went after Throne in the second rotation, with Geriner going last.
It's starting to feel like Thorne has a big lead in this race which is surprising as many thought he would begin fall camp having to catch up to Ashford and Geriner.
Auburn fans have to feel good about the confidence Hugh Freeze has in Thorne to throw him out with the starters at his first few practices in an Auburn uniform.
The Michigan State transfer has plenty of experience, which could help this Auburn football team exceed expectations in 2023.
