Auburn quarterback commit receives good comparison
Walker White has been deemed by many as Auburn's quarterback of the future.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback has a big arm and has put the recruiting world on notice with some big performances early in the season.
White has led Little Rock Christian Academy to a 2-1 start and has made a big difference in what they have been able to do with the football.
White received a pro-comparison that will perk the ears of any Auburn fan. In a tweet from QB Country, White was compared to perennial pro-bowl Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Like Allen, White can make things happen on the ground as well put his cannon of an arm to good use.
Allen is bigger than White, measuring 6-foot-five and 237 pounds, but Auburn's strength and conditioning program could easily remedy any issues with White's build.
According to 247Sports, White is the No. 100 player nationally, the No. 9 quarterback and the No. 3 player in the state of Arkansas in the class of 2024.
White is the only quarterback in Auburn's 2024 recruiting class. He chose Auburn over numerous top programs including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma and Ole Miss.
White will come to Auburn with high expectations, but he will have everything he needs in order to succeed. White will likely be an early enrollee which means he will get to participate in spring practice.
