Auburn Football Spring Practice Observations-3/19

Here are some observations from Auburn football's Tuesday afternoon practice.

The Auburn Tigers are in the middle of spring practice, where the coaching staff gets to learn about this roster and start to make a depth chart in their minds.

The Auburn football program granted local media extended time to watch some of practice. In the window, here are some of our observations.

Here are some observations from the media viewing window:

-The order of quarterbacks was the same as we have seen all spring practice long: Payton Thorne, Holden Geriner, Hank Brown, then Walker White.

-Payton Thorne made a great pass to Brandon Frazier on corner for a big play.

-Thorne and Brown made some bad throws early into the window.

-Thorne got picked off for a pick six because the receiver ran the wrong route.

-Robert Lewis made a great play on a pass from Throne.

-Rivaldo Fairweather made a nice catch on a pass where Thorne thread the needle. Tremendous seem pass.

-Brian Battie put the football on the ground.

-Hank Brown made a great pass to Luke Deal on the move.

-Camden Brown made a great play on a pass from Payton Thorne to score a long touchdown. This play came with Kayin Lee in coverage.

-Payton Thorne made a great pass to Cam Coleman for a touchdown on a post route. Colton Hood was the corner in coverage.

All of the quarterbacks had some excellent throws and then some throws that were a bit more questionable. Cam Coleman continues to make outstanding plays and impress in his first few practices in an Auburn uniform.
