Larry Nixon III and Eugene Asante were with the starters at Tuesday's practice

Larry Nixon III and Eugene Asante are making their case to start for the Auburn Tigers.

Along with wide receiver, linebacker has been the other position many have been curious about who will start for the Auburn Tigers. 

We have seen different combinations of players mix in and out throughout fall camp, but on Tuesday, North Texas transfer Larry Nixon III and Eugene Asante ran out with the starters. 

Both of these guys are good linebackers who could win the job, but Wesley Steiner, Austin Keys, and Cam Riley are still in this race. 

Keys and Steiner are both dealing with injuries at this point in fall camp, so I am curious to know what this race looks like if all of the players involved were 100% healthy. 

It will be interesting to see which linebackers Ron Roberts and Hugh Freeze send out for Auburn's September 2nd matchup with UMass.
