Two solid games in a row have Jalen McLeod as Auburn's third highest graded defensive player

Jalen McLeod's season PFF grade has skyrocketed thanks to his past two performances.

The Auburn Tigers have won three games in a row, which has the Auburn family pumped for the next two football games in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Part of the reason the Tigers are on this winning streak is thanks to the play of Appalachian State transfer Jalen McLeod.

Over the past three games, McLeod has four sacks. He has 5.5 sacks on the season, so this tells you he is heating up at the right time.

McLeod was banged up early in the season, and the narrative surrounding the transfer was once he gets fully healthy, watch out because he will take the SEC by storm.

He has done that over the last few games, which you love to see with the Iron Bowl right around the corner.

Thanks to his performance over the last few games, McLeod has raised his season-long PFF grade to 81.3, which has him third on Auburn's defense behind only DJ James and Marcus Harris.

McLeod received an 80.1 grade against Vanderbilt and a whooping 92.4 against Arkansas to boost his season-long grade.

This season is starting to have a 2021 vibe where Auburn's pass rush wasn't dominant to start the year, but they slowly heated up, and Derick Hall had Bryce Young on his back all game long in that season's Iron Bowl.

If this Auburn pass rush, including McLeod, continues to gain more confidence against New Mexico State, the Crimson Tide need to watch out because quarterback Jalen Milroe has been sacked a ton this season.
