Auburn Tigers Recruiting: Top JUCO Laquan Robinson Commits!

Auburn football continues to add top defensive talent with Laquan Robinson

Less than a two-hour drive from the Plains and right off of I-65, Laquan Robinson hails from Greenville (Ala.) High School. Recruited by the Auburn Tigers from the prep ranks, he ended up going the junior college route first. 

Soon to be done at Holmes (Miss.) Community College, Robinson is coming back home. 

A few words with Laquan Robinson on why he chose Auburn and a message to the Auburn family.

Here's a key quote from the commitment speech:

The 6-foot-2 and 195-pound Robinson is a physically gifted athlete who will have a chance to play early for the Tigers as the depth chart is seeing talented players like Jaylin Simpson and Zion Puckett probably moving on after the 2023 season.

Robinson is the 8th-ranked junior college player by 247 Sports. Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Florida, and Arkansas were some of the other schools that extended a scholarship offer to Robinson before he made his decision to be a Tiger.
