Payton Thorne just capped a strong opening drive for the Auburn Tigers with what may be the most physical run of his career.
Thorne scored from 12 yards out and ran through a final defender to get into the end zone to give Auburn a 7-0 lead. Thorne had 28 yards rushing on the drive and completed a 45-yard slant to Caleb Burton III on an RPO.
