Tank Bigsby comments on former Auburn receiver: Tigers' previous coaching staff 'didn't know how to use him'

Bigsby shared an interesting thought to his Instagram after Tar'Varish Dawson scored for the Colorado Buffaloes.

Former Auburn running back Tank Bigsby is one of the best backs to step onto the field in Tiger football history.

Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Bigsby has looked solid in NFL Preseason action doing what he did with Auburn - breaking tackles and evading opponents in the backfield and on the edge.

Many fans believe that Bigsby's full potential was never realized during his time on The Plains given how poorly the coaching staff utilized him.

The offensive line was never there. And in Bryan Harsin's first season at Auburn, the deserved touches for the tailback weren't, either.

During and following Harsin's tenure a plethora of players entered into the transfer portal, scattering across college football.

One ended up committing to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes and is now shining in a new role - speedy wide receiver Tar'Varish Dawson.

Dawson, like Bigsby, seemed to struggle at times from lack of proper usage. The difference between the two was that Bigsby actually made it on the field. Dawson had two receptions and two rush attempts in two seasons with the Tigers.

In just two games, Dawson has six receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown.

After Tar'Varish caught a touchdown against Nebraska on Saturday afternoon, Tank Bigsby took to social media to comment on Dawson's score.

"Been like that, just didn't know how to use him," Bigbsy said in an Instagram story post highlighting the touchdown.

It will be interesting to see if any former players comment about their utilization with the Tigers under Harsin in the future.
