The players and coaches for the 65th AHSAA North/South All-Star Game have been selected. There are five Auburn commits who were selected to participate in the game on Friday, December 15th in Mobile, AL. The game will be played at Mobile’s Hancock Whitney Stadium. The South leads the series 34-28-2.

All Auburn Commits Selected:

North

3-Star LB D’Angelo Barber (Clay-Chalkville)

4-Star DB Amon Lane (Moody)

The 3-Star linebacker and 4-Star defensive back will team up with each other for the North All-Star team. Barber is having an amazing season with undefeated Clay-Chalkville, which bested Thompson 36-33 on ESPN. Lane got hurt earlier this season but is expected to be back in time to help Moody throughout the playoffs.

South

4-Star WR Malcolm Simmons (Benjamin Russell)

4-Star LB Joseph Phillips (Booker T. Washington)

5-Star WR Demarcus Riddick (Chilton County)

Malcolm Simmons is the Tigers only offensive commit selected for the North/South All-Star game. He is an explosive receiver and great punter. You can expect Malcolm Simmons to potentially be covered by Amon Lane. Joseph Phillips and Demarcus Riddick, some of the highest-rated commits of Auburn’s 2024 class, will be teaming up to help out the South’s defense against the North. This All-Star game will be a great opportunity for Auburn fans to see key defensive commits and one of the most explosive players in the class playing on the same field together.
