Former Auburn Coach Bryan Harsin Betting Favorite to Return to Boise State
Former Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin was at Boise State before a disastrous stint with the Tigers.
Now, as the Boise State job has opened back up, Harsin is the betting favorite to return to coach for the Broncos.
According to BetOnline, Harsin is +300 to become the next head coach of Boise State. Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is right behind him at +400, and Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is close to Moore at +600.
Harsin was the head coach at Auburn for only 20 games after a successful tenure with Boise. Many did not expect him to survive the year after failing to take the program forward after a 6-7 season during his only full season with Auburn. He was 9-12 with the Tigers.
Following a stunt to get him removed as Auburn’s head coach over the offseason, Harsin acknowledged the fiasco at SEC Media Days and sent a message to folks who were skeptical of how he was leading his program. His instructions? “Just watch.”
Folks may get an opportunity to just watch him at Boise once again.
Auburn returns home to take on New Mexico State this Saturday, November 18th. Kickoff is at 3:00 pm CT on the SEC Network.
